Manuel Fernández Varela


According to the caption this gentleman not only is a canon, but also the 'Comisario General de Cruzada'. This might not be proper ecclesiastical dress, but the painting is just too good to not be posted here.

    I don't know...I think it's kind of nice to have something a bit more manly than lace or bows for a change ;)
