This last photo shows the cappa magna of the bishop as it was exhibited a while ago. It looks like he had two cappae. The one thet he is wearing on the photos is made of silk, this one has some nice ermine (with tails even) attached but is made of wool.

In three of the photos the trainbearer is wearing what appears to be a really shortened and small mozetta in black. I have seen this worn by other European priests, inclouding the Fathers Ratzinger on their ordination day. What is this item? Is it the almuce?
Nope, it's not the almuce. I don't even know, what this thing is called, but it used to be quite normal. You could even find versions of it with little black tassels in the fringe.
