German Cardinals

Sorry for not posting for a while. I have been kind of busy. And it gets worse: This posting will be the last for this year! I will take a Christmas break. You can expect me back in the second week of January!

I want to extend a heartfelt "Thank you very much!" to all my readers, especially those who have been supplying me with photos during the past months. Have a good advent, a merry Christmas and God Bless!

See you next year!

These two photos of Michael Cardinal Faulhaber, Archbishop of Munich from 1917 to 1952, are heavily watermarked, but they were just too good to not be posted.

This beautiful photo of Antonius Cardinal Fischer, Archbishop of Cologne from 1902 to 1912 also has a slight watermark. Sorry for that.

Finally, four photos (without watermarks - yay!) of Clemens August Cardinal von Galen, bishop of Münster from 1933 to 1946

Francesco Marmaggio (1870-1949)

I found a nice series of photos of Archbishop Francesco Marmaggi from his pre-purple years, when he was nuncio to Poland (1928-1935).

Mantelletta, Mozzetta and Ferraiolo! Go figure...

Cardinal Siri

Some readers keep asking for photos of Cardinal Siri, others send in photos of this still very popular prelate. To make things easier, I will put all my good pictures of Cardinal Siri into one posting, so you can enjoy them all at once without having to travel through the far sight's archives. Enjoy!
