Just occasionally you see a lace rochet which is attractive and well-designed, like the one being worn by the Bishop of Annecy.

It isn't revearsed, you can read in the rochet Lucas with the bull. so this is the original picture.

Yes is reversed.
See the relive of ring in the left hand, on the bishop in the left.

The bishop on the left is Mgr. Louis-Marie de Bazelaire de Ruppière, archbishop of Chambéry.

I was confirmed near Annecy by Mgr Auguste Cesbron and twice, as an altar boy, hold his crozier during ceremonies ! Long time ago ...
This photo was taken in Annecy, during the traditional "Triduum" in honour of St Francis de Sales in august every year, at the Basilique de la Visitation.
