Beran was the author of an article "de Ordine Missae secundum Tertullianum apologeticum" which appeared in a Festschift dedicated to Fr Cunibert Mohlberg. Unremarkable except that he wrote the first half in Dachau and the second half while in prison and under house arrest under the Czech Communist regime! An amazing witness to the Faith.
