Great photos Sir! Thank God for Archbishop Burke (Cardinale Subito!) and for all clergy who adhere to Tradition! Might I ask, isn't it more proper for His Excellency to be wearing a Moire Silk Cappa since he is in direct service to Our Holy Father and the head of the Apostolic Signatura? Or is this privilege "abrogated?"
To be honest, I always thought that moirée silk was reserved for cardinals and nuncios and didn't know anything about the privilege you mentioned. Well, maybe it would be just a little too much to ask, what with tradition only recently rearing its head again on a broader scale ;-). But just you wait! As soon as His Excellency becomes His Eminence, somebody will donate a watered-silk cappa (I hope...).
Oh, Im sorry Sir for my mistake. I know that I read somewhere that watered silk was also allowed for clergy attached to the Papal Household and those in direct service to the Pope. Ill try to locate that source to share Sir. Thanks for the correction though.
