As a matter of fact, the first picture happens to be in my living town of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in the Kingdom of The Canary Islands (Kingdom of Spain). Very nice picture, indeed. It is a yearly ceremony which used to be held until a few years ago: the civic procession of the Royal Banner of the Island of Grand-Canary, on the anniversary of the Conquest of the Isle by Spain in the XVth Century, the 29th April. This Royal Banner is kept under the protection of the Chapter of the Basilica-Cathedral of our Canarian Diocese. It has been some years now since this ceremony is only held into the Basilica-Cathedral with a Mass, due to public disturbs during the procession the last years it was taken out to the streets.
