Do you know when these pictures were made? It might be just before the 1963 conclave, when all "contenders" wanted to make clear how befriended they were to pope John.. It's an interesting double-portrait of two men, who had little in common..

As far as I know the photos were taken in 1961. I am not 100% sure, though.
