Canons from Bruges

These canons from Belgium might not be as spectacular as the ones we've seen from Spain, but the black silk mozzetta with the purple buttons and piping still is a nice and distinctive piece.




The photos were taken during the procession of the Precious Blood, 2008. Cardinal Danneels is there, too.

Ah... I see Monsieur Le Cardinal has no idea of how a pectoral cross is to be worn with choral dress...

you know, it is now allowed to wear it pending from a chain instead of the cord... sad but true

Ceremonial says green and gold cord...where does it say one can wear a chain? You see the chain with regular clerics, but it appears that one still needs to cord when vested. I'm probably missing something...
