Bishop Thomas Lawrence Noa (1892-1977)


He was the eighth Bishop of Marquette from 1947 until 1968. He began Bishop Baraga's cause for canonization in 1952.

Maybe Bp. Noa was anticipating the "reforms" folling VII in that his fascia appears to have hringes and not tassels or tufts.
