... that there has been a mysterious fabric-shortage in Spain during the 20st century (see last post), here are some pictures with the good old cappa magna:
These first three photos show Gregorio Modrego y Casaus, bishop/archbishop of Barcelona from 1942 to 1970.
You know this prelate from the previous post. It's José Cueto y Díez de la Maza, O.P., bishop of the Islas Canarias from 1891 to 1908.
Isidro Cardinal Goma y Tomas, archbishop of Toledo from 1933 to 1940, elevated to the cardinalate in the consistory of Dec 16th 1935.
Four decent shots of Fernando Cardinal Quiroga Palacios, bishop on Mondoñedo from 1946 to 1949, archbishop of Santiago de Compostela from 1949 to 1971, elevated to the cardinalate in the consistory of January 12th, 1953.

Un-%^&&**$£nkg-believable!!! You have some incredibly valuable and rare books or what? Thank you so much this is better than a museum.
Yeah, partly books, partly old newspapers, partly internet.
Glad you like it.
The Goma photo is very striking - are the uniformed men Phalangists?
