Those were the days...

Wonderful photos from an ordination in the Sint Janskathedraal in 's-Hertogenbosch / Netherlands from 1951. The ordaining bishop was Wilhelmus Mutsaerts, who you've already seen in the previous post and who will probably one day get his own post.

This is such a beautiful Cathedral, and it is so good to see a picture of it before the choir was - umm, er, "rearranged". I am certainly no fan of Napoleon's, but that is really something we must thank him for that he gave back this magnificent church to us Catholics.
